• I was involved in a murder due to the fact that a party that I was with had stolen some money. And there was an altercation between she and I and we were in my aunts home and during the altercation between she and I, my aunt came in and at some particular time, I really blinked. I don't know what really happened, but I went to stab the girl about the money, due to the fact that she said that she didn't take it, instead my aunt jumped between me at that particular time and I stabbed her instead. And she died. It was proven in court that it was an a__ccident. I was supposed to be charged with manslaughter but instead they charged me with 2nd degree murder. So therefore I received a life sentence. I had no reason because I loved my aunt. We were best friends. And she raised me and there was no reason that I would've had of any animosity towards her in any way. I lost more than I could ever gain, because, as I said, she was my friend as well as my aunt. Like I say, I would be willing to give my life if it would bring her back. But God in heaven knows that it wasn't an intentional thing and the person I was trying to hurt testified to that in court and told them exactly how close my aunt and I was. I lost 2 homes and I lost 2 automobiles and I lost all my personal property due to drugs.
